This is closest to the town of Galé, right next to Praia de Galé. Did you receive our email about no longer changing Portuguese town names?

Yeah but it is part of the county Albufeira. I don't think it makes sense to create new locations of places that are not countys.

My friend, in all honesty I tell you that "Galé" is not the correct location. Although the car is close to the village of Galé, the correct location would be at least "Guia", which is the name of the parish. However, given the way the locations in Portugal are organized here in AG, the most correct would be "Albufeira", which is the name of the municipality. Therefore, I ask you to change the location

We don't work here with 'counties'. We work with town names, as written in the rules:
"Always choose the name of the town that is closest." So "Although the car is close to the village of Galé" is correct here.
This is exactly the reason why we sent an email to all frequently uploading spotters in Portugal many years ago to stop reporting town names. If you did not get that email and need to have it re-send, send us an email at feedback@autogespot.com.
