I noticed this ZR1 parked at work a little over a year ago. Unfortunately I didn't have much time to grab many pics, but I had a request to share these so I figured it was still worth a post, especially since I seem to have terrible luck getting ZR1s on camera. I was pretty pumped to see a manual shifter between the seats, which is partly why I will always prefer the C7 to the C8.

Awesome shots, Nick. I never thought I would get the chance to drive one of these last great front engine masterpieces from Chevy. I was so impressed with the power. The car that I drove had the paddles so it was nice to compare the last car to the new C8 with the engine in it's proper place at the rear. Honestly I love the C8 for my driving style. This car however screams brute power. @NCspotter

@jasper1 [@Exclusive BeNeLux] @thomcarspotter @LucasH @Horse-Power thanks guys! I think that if I had a ZR1 that I only drove on the track, I might go with the automatic. But since all of my driving up to this point has been on public roads, I would prefer the engagement of a manual. Still a fantastic car regardless of which transmission it has though.

Awesome find Nick! Thanks for sharing this spot ;) Too bad the one I saw didn't have the wing.

@Jjrivero thanks and no problem! I've seen six or seven C7 ZR1s and they all had the wing as well as the other aerodynamic pieces. Seems to be very rare to find them without those.
